Planning Division Staffing
The Planning Division works to ensure that the future growth of Turlock happens in accordance with the policies adopted by the City Council.Planning serves as the first stop for development proposals and provides assistance to architects, developers, builders, and residents navigating through the city development process. Planning staff also maintains and implements the General Plan, the City's long range policy document.
The Planning Division provides services including:
- Long range planning
- Zoning regulations
- Land use entitlements (permitting)
- Environmental review to implement the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)
- Review and processing of building, grading and encroachment permits
