The City of Turlock has partnered with Pressert Marketing to provide a City of Turlock Business Development and Assistance Program . The City of Turlock Business Development and Assistance Program will provide strategic consulting and business development strategies to elevate Turlock small businesses.

The business development program will provide periodic business workshops and information sessions hosted in Downtown Turlock. The businesses eligible to participate must be Turlock businesses that have a business license with the City of Turlock, operate out of a commercial location, have no more than 50 employees, and not be part of a franchise or corporate chain. The business development program is limited to 100 businesses.

The City of Turlock Business Development and Assistance Program aims to provide strategic consulting and business development strategies to elevate Turlock small businesses, as well as providing funds for local businesses to utilize for Facebook/Instagram Ads and Google Ads.

This City of Turlock Small Business Development and Assistance program - Funds are limited to 100 businesses and while limited funding is still available. Even if your business does not meet these initial requirements, we still encourage you to apply and plan on attending the FREE in-person workshops that will also be assisting with services at no-charge!

The City of Turlock Business Development and Assistance Program aims to provide strategic consulting and business development strategies to elevate Turlock small businesses, as well as providing an "ONLINE ADS Grants" element for local businesses to utilize for Facebook/Instagram Ads and Google Ads.

As an applicant for the City of Turlock's Online Advertising Grant, you're among the first to know about a beneficial change. In response to feedback from local businesses and the challenges of upfront expenses, the City has revised its Online Ads grant program to remove the previous "matching funds" requirement. Now, eligible businesses can access grant funds ASAP without any initial or additional out-of-pocket spending!

The City of Turlock has approved a revision to the Small Business Development and Assistance Program grants that removes the "matching-funds" element (not requiring an out-of-pocket, up-front expenditure or additional expenditures besides the funds granted by the City of Turlock for online advertising). Eligible businesses may receive up to $3,500* in grants, disbursed as two (2) payments of $1,750* each, to be used on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Ads and Google Search Ads.
* $3,500 is the maximum total amount that can be received through any of the Small Business Development and Assistance programs that have been offered by the City of Turlock and administered through Pressert Marketing, and only while limited funds are available.

The businesses eligible to apply for "ONLINE ADS Grants" must be Turlock businesses that have a business license with the City of Turlock, operate out of a commercial location**, have no more than 50 employees, and not be part of a franchise or corporate chain. This City of Turlock Small Business Development and Assistance program - "ONLINE ADS Grants" - funds are limited and available on a first come, first served basis until funds dedicated to this program have been exhausted.
**Only one (1) application is allowed per commercial location/address (owner, license holder).

Even if your business does not meet these initial requirements, we still encourage you to apply and plan on attending the FREE in-person workshops that will also be assisting with services at no-charge!

Once you fill out this application, you will be emailed an agreement to complete and sign stating that you accept the term of the program - including to use the City grant funding for purchasing the required online ads in order to receive the next grant check.

This first of its kind small business assistance program and funding was approved by the Turlock City Council, and is brought to you by the City of Turlock, utilizing American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds.

The program will be administered by Pressert Marketing, while also including FREE services.
