Electronic Bid Bond (e-Bond) with Surety2000
The City is enhancing its construction contract procurement process by transitioning to an Electronic Bid Bond (e-Bond) system.Bidders wishing to use the e-Bond process should take the following steps:
Confirm Bonding Agent Registration
Verify that your bonding agent is registered with the Surety2000 e-Bond platform. If they are not yet registered,, request they do so visiting https://dashboard.surety2000.com/register/agency
Bidder Registration
If your bonding agent has an account with Surety2000 and you (the Bidder) have not already registered, you must also register.
CLICK HERE to register with Surety2000.
Submit Your e-Bond
Once both the bonding agent and Bidder have active Surety2000 accounts, the Bidder may use the platform to establish and submit the electronic bid bond with their bid.
Use Bond Code in Bid Submission
For each City of Turlock project, your bonding agent will provide a unique Surety2000 bond verification code. Enter this code in the City of Turlock's E-Bid Room with your bid. This code allows the City, your bonding agent, Surety2000, and the City of Turlock to confirm a valid bid bond has been issued for your project.
